Integrative Holistic Psychiatrist
"We
"We're all walking each other home" -- Ram Dass
I believe we are all fellow travelers seeking our highest truth and working towards wholeness. My practice emphasizes the importance of therapeutic relationships to help bring light to the shadows of the unconscious processes that often contribute to dis-ease in life. A diagnosis or prescription pad isn't sufficient to treat complex human mind-body-heart challenges like depression, anxiety, disordered eating, OCD or PTSD/CPTSD.

My work is focused on creating therapeutic relationships that allow for deep exploration. I value expanding consciousness and identifying some of the root cause(s) of our joy and suffering. I believe in an intuitive inner healing wisdom that binds us together and allows us to heal and be healed. I work alongside my patients understand how the mind, body, and heart/spirit interplay and inform how we experience our reality.

I offer deep gratitude to the teachers, guides, animals and healing traditions that support me in my work.
I am an ABPN Board Certified, trauma-informed practitioner who incorporates psychotherapy, conventional and alternative medicine.

I provide individualized, patient-centered treatment plans that incorporate both psychotherapy and medication management (if needed). All of my standard appointments are 60 min in length to allow for depth-oriented/trauma-informed/relational psychotherapy. If you have an outside therapist, I will collaborate with them as you feel comfortable. I also collaborate with other members of your healthcare team and family members as needed/desired.

I offer telehealth for most visits. Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy is only offered in person (via lozenges or intramuscular injections) in the San Francisco/Bay area at this time.

Please note that I do not utilize benzodiazepines (e.g. Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin) or stimulants (e.g. Adderall, Ritalin) as part of my regular practice.
Psychiatric areas of focus include: CPTSD/PTSD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, existential/spiritual distress, burnout, eating disorders, OCD, gender-related dysphoria, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
